Abbate Villa d'este 1966

Italian speed boat built in 1966 at the Bruno Abbate yard on Lake Como Italy, the engine is the original American built Ford V8 Interceptor of 144hp the boat was originally built and supplied built with.

Varnish removal

With so many marks in the varnish work the entire deck area has been taken back to bare wood. Some of the thin planks in the foredeck had to be removed and replaced.

with all the damaged frames now replaced and new engine bearers in place a coat of paint was called for.

with all structural work as required completed work is now being carried out on the final finishing of the hull.
