With the stern tube removed and the fixing bolts out the shaft log is removed by sliding it aft.

New shaft log in position with all new bronze bolts and stern tube replaced.

Steel shoe for the keel

Whilst on the slip the boat has received a steel shoe to protect against damage when she dries out at Wells harbour where she will operate from.

New bilge keels

New and heavier bilge keels have also been fitted due to the poor fitting of the original keels.
