Sternpost replacment

Working within the customers budget we are always faced with situations like this one, sternpost rotting from the top and planking begining to spring loose, in an ideal world we would replace all of the stern post requiring the letting go of all planking

Here in the sequance of photos is how we got round the budget and the practical replacement of the top section of the stem. Unfortunatly there are no phots of how were removed the old rotten section but we did have to remove the knee below the deck.
