Transom

Here you can see the new transom in place and made from solid mahogany boards, new knees were fitted prior to the transom being put in place.

Now with the topside caulked and seams filled and a coat of primer the main work on the hull is nearing completion.

now we are concentrating on the cabin sides and after removing the old rotten side a new one piece mahogany side has been fitted. The windows have been cut out on the bench before fitting.

With deck and cabin sides now fitted the hull has now been faired off and given a coat of primer.

After many years and a fright with fire Vagrant lady is back in the water, hull all painted topsides and new canopy, there is just a few items inside that need finishing and she will be away.
