On slipway for first time

On slipway for first time

William & Kate Johnstone on the slip for the first time. Her double diagonal teak hull in need of some repair along with repairs to stem and bulwarks forward.
Extensive repairs were carried out in the area aft of engine space due to rot in the inner hull planking. When on the slip this area had its plastic barrel water tanks removed.
Some framing had also been found damaged, the possible cause being this area used for the battery banks in the past, vented gas being the cause of softening of the Teak hull in this area.
